homemade smoothie pops
Summer means popsicles, and lots of them! We do buy a couple boxes of popsicles, but my kids actually prefer homemade smoothie pops, which makes me very happy because I know exactly what is going into them!
Our favorites are frozen strawberries with whatever juice we have in the fridge – apple juice, lemonade, limeade, orange juice, etc. Just blend until smooth (add sugar to taste) and pour into dixie cups. Freeze for about an hour, then add popsicle sticks (otherwise the sticks fall over and end up crooked), and freeze until frozen. Enjoy!
