glitter fireworks

July 2, 2010

With the 4th of July literally just around the corner, I wanted to do some quick projects with the kids.  A couple years ago, I did chalk fireworks, and thought of doing it again, but (of course) the kids wanted something new!

So I pulled out the black paper, the glitter, and the elmer’s and we went to town!

1. glue

(encourage your kids not to get all thick and gloopy, it actually looks better if the lines are skinny and faint)

2. glitter

(mix colors, it’ll look more realistic and way cooler!)

3. shake & repeat

(fill up the paper!)
